Experiments were conducted with light and shadows as makers of forms and spaces, explorations of design responses to climatic, contextual and urban scenarios, and discovering mediums of expressions, both on paper and as 3D models. These processes also involved a continuous dialogue with self in attempts to develop an individual eye and mind to appreciate the physical world.

Design was seen as an integrating force bringing together several streams of knowledge. The approach saw design as a cultural system that deals with all aspects of human evolution, the production of culture as well as unfolding of human imagination.
